Abat Builders was founded by Tony Czupryna in 1979, who was joined in 1994 by his brother Jerry. Initially specializing in home remodeling, the company undertook its first motel renovation in Rochester, Minnesota in 1996. Abat has focused exclusively on hotel/motel work since 1999. Total billings in 2004 were $5.24 million.
